Antigua Art Gallery
Antiguan artist Gilly Gobinet’s Art Gallery is located in her charming, secluded seafront property in Fitches Creek, Antigua. Signposts from Piggott’s Village make it easy to find – it is just north of the lovely old Protestant church of St. George. Click here to see comments from gallery visitors. Warm, nurturing, joyful, carefree and serene best sum up Gilly’s colourful, original paintings. Working mostly in acrylic and watercolor, her art, both figurative and abstract, is largely inspired by her island home in the Caribbean. The sparkling sea and myriad plants & animals, including an amazing marine life, are subjects of which she never tires. Her striking paintings of classic yachts come from her love of sailing.
